History
The Museum of Walloon Life was founded in 1913 under the leadership of Walloon activists amongst who were Joseph-Maurice Remouchamps (lawyer and son of the famous author Edouard Wallon Remouchamps and Founding Director), Jean Haust (linguist, author of a Liege Walloon dictionary) and Henri Simon (Walloon author and first curator).
