The Documentation Centre
Set up in the Chamart house adjoining the museum, the Documentation Centre houses the Museum Collection, the Desarcy-Robyns Collection, the History of the Walloon Movement Collection and the Library of Dialects in Wallonia.
In the case of an initial contact or a visit without a prior application, general works on history, ethnography and day-to-day life in Wallonia or Museum collections may be consulted onsite, as well as the Museum of Walloon Life’s Bulletin des Enquêtes (the review we publish). People wishing to undertake more in-depth research work should prepare a detailed data sheet so our researchers can ensure they provide documents that are perfectly consistent with the visitors’ expectations.
Access to the Centre is free of charge. A computer and photocopier are available to visitors to the Centre.
